What this app keeps, who sees it and for how long. Last changed 14 October 2026.
In short
This app plans and tracks your own meals. It keeps what it needs for that and uses it only to run the service. It shows no ads and never sells your data. You can delete your account and everything in it in Settings.
What it keeps
From Google, when you sign in: your email address, your name and your Google account id. Nothing else from your Google account.
What you enter: your goals; optional body details (height, weight, age, sex and activity level), used to estimate how much energy you need; the food in your kitchen; the meals you log; and the messages and photos you send the coach.
What it makes for you: your plans and recipes, a painting of each dish, an icon for each food, and the coach’s replies.
Who can see it
You, and the trainers you add. A trainer reads your goals, details, kitchen, plans, meal log, your conversations with the coach and the photos you send it, and can change your goals and details. Notes a trainer keeps about you are seen only by your trainers.
An assistant you give a key. In Settings, under AI assistant access, you can make a read-only key for an AI assistant. It can read what you can read here and change nothing, until you revoke it.
Services that handle it
Anthropic runs the coach: your messages, your photos and the parts of your workspace a reply needs. When the coach looks something up on the web, the search runs through Anthropic too.
OpenRouter writes your recipes and paints your dishes and food icons: the meals in your plan, the foods in your kitchen, your recipe preferences, and a package photo when you give one for an icon.
Nous Research checks the paintings and icons: the pictures, with the dish or food names.
USDA FoodData Central is asked about a food by name when the coach looks it up: the name, nothing else.
Google signs you in.
Each one gets only what its step needs, and only to run the service for you.
How long it stays
Your data stays while your account is active. Something you delete, a food in your kitchen for example, can be brought back for about 48 hours; then it is removed for good.
Photos you send the coach stay with the conversation they were sent in until you delete your account. The coach can look at a photo again for 48 hours after you send it. Photos you attach but never send are deleted after 24 hours.
A copy of the whole database is made every night and kept on the same server for 14 days, so something deleted can remain in those copies for up to 14 days.
Deleting your account
At the end of Settings, “Delete your account” deletes your account and everything in it, and signs you out.
